How to start

Starting Football Manager Pro is free and takes a few minutes. All you need is an account, a confirmed email and a club without a manager.

Football Manager Pro “Play with friends” promo with two players in a tackle, a manager ranking and flags of the supported languages
Free to play: create an account and take on real managers.
01

Create an account at play.footballmanager.pro, in the Android app (APK) or in the iOS app (App Store). Pick a manager name, add your email and a password.

02

Or sign up with Google, X or Discord. Apple sign-in is planned for the iOS app.

03

Confirm your email. Your account is fully active once you click the activation link.

04

Sign in and open All Teams in the office menu.

05

Pick a country, choose a free club and sign the manager contract. From that moment, the club is yours.

Free clubs are highlighted. The others already have a manager. The list shows league position and team strength for goalkeeper, defence, midfield, attack and overall, so a third-division side is a perfectly good place to start.

Keep your job

The season goes on without you, and that hurts. After 7 days without a login you get a warning by email and in the game. After 14 days you’re sacked and the club becomes free. A quick login is enough to stay active. If you do get sacked, you can take another free club.

You can also get sacked over the finances: a warning at around −500,000, and you’re out at −3,000,000. Read club economy before your first transfer.

Your first week

  • Set a lineup before the matchday. Auto lineup fills the formation at 14:30 Europe/Berlin if you leave it on.
  • Spend training every day. It is calculated at 12:02 Europe/Berlin. Unused units expire.
  • Open sponsors and fill the empty slots. Last season’s deals don’t carry over.
  • Only touch the stadium once you know your weekly wage bill.
