GUIDES
A training camp lifts the whole squad at once and is paid from the club account. Injured players do not benefit. If the club account can’t cover it, the booking is refused.

| Camp | Cost | Stars | Fitness and condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Portugal | 400,000 | 2 | +5 each |
| Spain | 600,000 | 3 | +10 each |
| Austria | 800,000 | 4 | +15 each |
| Switzerland | 1,000,000 | 5 | +20 each |
The more expensive camp has the stronger training effect. Before you book, the game shows the detail for endurance, shooting, tactics and intensity. The fitness and condition bonus above is in addition to the skill work, and it applies to healthy players only. Players under 90 fitness or condition are weaker in matches, so the bonus is match-relevant, not cosmetic.
After one visit you wait 5 matchdays before another camp. You cannot chain Switzerland every week. Plan the camp for a gap: after a dense cup week, or before a run of home games where condition shows up in the score and in the crowd.
400,000 to 1,000,000 comes off the same balance as wages and transfer fees. A first-division start is about 4,500,000. A third-division start is about 1,500,000. Switzerland on day one of a third-division job can eat the whole budget. Check finances first. Daily training is free apart from your time, and it is the tool you still have during the five-matchday lockout.
Camps do not change the table by themselves and they do not replace a friendly on a free matchday. Friendlies still pay gate receipts and still move experience. Competitions and the empty weeks are listed under competitions.
