Cookie and tracking policy

This page explains how Football Manager Pro (FMP) uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. What we use

  • Essential: session and auth cookies or local storage needed to keep you logged in and run the game.
  • Preferences: language and UI preferences stored locally.
  • Language: pll_language (from Polylang, our multilingual plugin) stores the language version of the site you last visited. fmp_lang stores your language preference as soon as you choose a language in the language switcher or, on your first visit, are forwarded to another language version based on your browser language. Both cookies last 1 year and contain only a language code.
  • Consent: a small cookie from our cookie banner (Complianz) that stores your consent choice, usually for up to 12 months.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, only after you accept statistics cookies, to understand traffic and feature usage in aggregate form.
  • Security: Google reCAPTCHA v3 on the contact form of the Support page, which helps us stop spam and may set or read cookies and similar identifiers from Google.

2. Google Analytics

Google Analytics may collect device and browser information, approximate location, and interaction data. Google may process this data according to its own policies. You can learn more in Google’s documentation and, where available, use browser controls or Google’s opt-out tools.

3. Your choices

You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser or OS settings. Blocking essential storage may prevent login or core features from working. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Manage consent” link at the bottom of every page.
